The LCA drawer system from mts is an automation-ready feeding system that enables uninterrupted, cycle-independent parts feeding. Developed for body-in-white production, it combines ergonomics, process reliability and flexibility in a compact system.
A core principle is the cycle-independent parts feed: while one trolley is being loaded, a second supplies the line without interruption. This optimizes the material flow without having to stop production. The 2-bin principle supports this by automatically switching to the second bin when the first is empty, thus ensuring continuous material availability and supporting lean manufacturing. In combination with mt’s LCA solutions, this enables seamless, cycle-independent parts feeding.

- Ready for automation: The drawer system can be easily integrated into existing or planned automation concepts.
- High repeat accuracy: Quick-change plates and precise nest positioning with Poka Yoke guarantee high repeat accuracy and minimal set-up times.
- Precision down to a tenth of a millimeter: mts racks are equipped with centering units that guarantee a positioning accuracy of ±0.5 mm over 2500 mm. This ensures that robots always pick up the parts in the exact position.
